Not every girl is a girly girl.
Not every girl is a sexy bombshell.
Not every girl is a precious princess.
Some are confident tomboys.
Some are eclectic hipsters.
Some are wild, free spirits.
Hathorway was created for those “some” girls.
The Hathorway girl goes where the wind takes her.
She is inquisitive, down-to-earth, witty, resilient and courageous. Her style is comfortable, practical and versatile with a sprinkle of boldness and individuality.
She is unique and one-of-a-kind.
She is a breath of fresh air.
Hathorway is style for the one-of-a-kind, courageous spirit.
Hathorway is founded by Jessica Phan, a maker and explorer in the San Francisco Bay Area. She created Hathorway because she is the “some" girl. Growing up, she felt out of place and somewhat an oddball, but she was always resilient to conform. Twenty-something years later, she finally realized that it’s okay to be different and it’s okay to not fit in. She realized there are no brand that celebrate this individuality; thus Hathorway was created.
By day, Jessica is the founding designer at Zugata, designing a product that help people reach their potential at work. By night, she is building this Hathorway empire - a childhood dream, she hopes to go full steam ahead one day.
Previously, she has designed for Samsung, SAP, Sequoia Capital, JCPenney, and BDBiosciences. Besides designing things in the digital world, she has also designed home decor products and led the photo-art direction for Balsam Hill & Treetopia. And in her spare time, she explores the world, makes cute things and reflect & write. A few of her pieces were featured on FastCo and The Next Web.
